I’m Anna and I just wanted to write you a little note to let you know how overjoyed I am that you’ve found your way here, to this small space of the digital world that I occupy. I am unashamedly passionate about using words to remind the world that people are the prize.
I recently published my first children’s book, Mumma’s Heart, which is a heartwarming book about the power and presence of a Mumma’s Heart that leaves young children with an everlasting impression that, no matter what, Mumma’s Heart is always with them. All proceeds go towards Simple Sunshine Haus, whose mission is to support single women facing housing insecurity (check out the video to learn more).
I’m also a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunty, a lover of people (and shoes), and a friend.

Mumma’s Heart - a project from a Mother’s heart
For a long time I wanted to take the memory of my own mum and pass it on to my children in a meaningful way. I didn’t want to just write a children’s book, I wanted to make the world a better place. With every purchase of Mumma’s Heart that becomes a reality.
Proceeds from every Mumma’s Heart go towards supporting single women facing housing insecurity. Single mothers in particular, like my own, give their whole hearts in raising their children without much left for their own future in a world where the system doesn’t always support them.
Together, you and I, and this little book, can help give back to the women who help raise us and give us every opportunity for a full and prosperous life.
